We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who is a natural storyteller, strategist, and creative thinker who understands how to translate a brand’s essence into meaningful content that drives engagement and impact. 

 

Role Overview

 

This specialist-level role will support day-to-day social media strategy and execution across several client accounts. You’ll work closely with our internal creative and client teams to plan, create, and publish content that aligns with each brand’s voice and goals.

 

You’ll work directly with our Social Media Manager and Account Leads, while collaborating with the Creative, Strategy, and Design teams to develop and share thoughtful, engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more. The role will average 15–20 hours per week. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must.

What You’ll Do

Content & Community Management 

  • Create, program, and publish social content (posts, reels, stories, short-form videos) for multiple client brands.
  • Engage with communities daily, engaging with client’s communities via comments, DMs, and mentions in a way that fosters connection and builds trust.
  • Monitor trends, cultural moments, and platform updates to keep client content fresh and relevant.
  • Comfortable capturing lightweight, mobile-first content at Southern California based events when needed is a plus.

Creative Strategy & Execution

  • Support in developing monthly social calendars that align with overall brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce visually stunning, high-quality content.
  • Assist in brainstorming creative concepts and campaign ideas for key brand moments.
  • Maintain an editorial eye for aesthetic consistency and storytelling cohesion.

Performance & Collaboration

  • Track analytics and community insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support reporting on content performance and engagement metrics.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with project leads to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Contribute to team brainstorms and cross-functional strategy sessions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within agency or CPG/wellness brands.
  • Strong understanding of social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Proficiency with tools like Asana, Canva, Notion, Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • A proactive, creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Passion for wellness, sustainability, and storytelling that drives impact.

Bonus Points If You

  • You are fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken & written). 
  • Have experience editing short-form video (Reels/TikTok) using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro/Rush, CapCut, or Instagram Edits.
  • Are familiar with influencer and creator collaboration processes.
  • Have experience supporting bilingual or multicultural campaigns.
  • Stay plugged into digital culture, trends, and emerging content formats.
