MEET THE TEAM

After a decade of working together in-house (at brands like Red Bull, TikTok, Alo, Vissla), Rachael and Mackenzie joined forces to share what they know about authentic, effective storytelling with others.

With our clients ranging from documentary production studios to biotechnology companies, the common denominator is a deep commitment to driving DTC (direct to community) impact.

  • Co-Founder

    Mackenzie is a passionate marketer with a natural skill for pairing creative storytelling with impactful community & growth strategies. For nearly 10 years, she has worked in-house on top-tier creative marketing teams, becoming fluent in social strategies, content production, and global community activations that work. It’s not just about making noise, but intentionally elevating diverse voices.

    Mackenzie launched and led strategy for Red Bull's US managed channels, worked closely with world renowned Red Bull athletes to optimize & grow their personal brands on social, and managed a community of diverse top-creators at TikTok. Additionally, Mackenzie has worked alongside creative teams at Roc Nation, Sony Latin, Content Capital, and Disney Music Group to elevate & optimize the digital presence of influential cultural leaders including Christina Aguilera, DeAndre Hopkins, Emmanuel Acho, Richard Jefferson, and more.

    A native Minnesotan, Mackenzie grew up on the 'North Coast' playing pond hockey and falling in love with the outdoors. Currently calling beautiful southern California home, you can find her surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and spending as much time outdoors as she can. All of her work is infused by this innate pull towards adventure and a deep love for the communities she has met and kept through these activities.

    Rachael is an expert in the art of 360 degree marketing and communications. She’s leveraged her knowledge to help brands, both big and small, emerge and thrive as thought leaders in arenas they have not previously played in. From driving global grassroot campaigns for Red Bull Docs to managing the Alo Moves marketing strategy, Rachael exemplifies that disruptive innovation occurs at the intersection of mindfulness and bold action.

    At Red Bull, Rachael worked on the Media House’s Documentary team and managed the global grassroots campaigns for The Dawn Wall and The Fourth Phase. These two films brought the brand into exciting new territories (including the opportunity to partner with climate leader Patagonia) and made impactful splashes that rippled through their community. In 2022, Rachael supported the launch of Alo’s #1 tentpole marketing campaign: #AloMovesYou, managing the activewear leader’s big leap into wellness & subscription offerings. Rachael has also managed media marketing & campaigns for Vissla, Sisstrevolution, and Amuse while collaborating with top endemic surf media and/or partners including The Surfer’s Journal, Surfline, Stab, Surfrider, Surfers Against Sewage, T&C Surf Designs, Axxe Wetsuits.

    Rachael is a mindful movement facilitator, bringing the principles of her practice into all her projects. Her love for the ocean keeps her deeply dedicated to driving positive environmental impact. Outside of her work passions, you can find Rachael at the nearest lefthand point break, teaching a morning yoga flow, taking film photos, and pursuing sustainability interests.
