5 Tips for Brands Looking to Perform on Social Media

1. Optimize Content for Platform
It's 2024, and we don't want to see a landscape video with black bars on Reels (🫣). Ensure your content is maximizing screen real estate, taking up as much of the audience's screen as possible to avoid a scroll down, a swipe away, or exiting the app.

2. Use A Strong Hook
We all fall victim to the endless, doom scroll, and your audience isn't immune to this either. Make sure to catch the viewer's attention in the first second of your content with a strong hook, starting with action, or posing a question.

3. Hone In On Community Management
Social platforms reward you for being social, and so will your audience. The more you can foster a sense of community online, the more your audience will feel connected with your brand - fostering a sense of brand love and loyalty.

4. Utilize A Consistent Posting Cadence
- You don't have to post every day on social (you're welcome). We lean on the old 'quality over quantity' rule of thumb, and we recommend our clients to do the same!

5. Don't Take it So Seriously!
- If you're not having fun on social, it's unlikely your audience is having fun on the other end of the screen as well. Lean into human stories, show behind the scenes, share UGC, and above all, just have some fun with it!
