Social Media, Community & Content Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Social Media, Community & Content Manager will play a pivotal role at Sun & Sol Co., leading our efforts in engaging with and growing our online communities. This role involves overseeing the social media presence of our clients, managing community interactions, and developing impactful content across multiple platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging channels.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of community engagement, fostering a vibrant and positive environment for dialogue and brand awareness.

  • Create and curate compelling content tailored to each social media platform, ensuring alignment with the client’s brand voice and objectives.

  • Monitor and analyze social media trends and engagement, providing insights for strategy refinement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure cohesive messaging and impactful campaigns.

  • Lead content calendar development, coordinating with marketing and business goals.

  • Maintain high standards for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all content and community interactions.

  • Manage crisis communication and address negative feedback constructively.

  • Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in social media, community management, and content creation in a corporate environment or agency. 

  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for engaging storytelling and adaptability across various platforms.

  • Strong analytical skills to draw insights and inform content strategies.

  • Experience in CPG, Non-profit, or influencer marketing is highly desirable.

  • A deep understanding of current social media trends and best practices in content and community management.

  • Knowledge of international markets and diverse cultural nuances is a plus.
