Problem: Creative Ruts ~ Solution: Nature

Whether you're a cinematographer, a CEO, or you're suuuuuper into finger-painting: we all deal with a certain level of lag in creativity and

...we know - it halts productivity (and it absolutely sucks).

*Queue the desire to melt your brain a little.*

Open up @netflix, consider Harry Potter, remember The Office is gone.

Send a meme (or 50) to your best friend or partner.

Twiddle your thumbs between different accounts on social.

But how often, before the mind melting, do we ask ourselves the simple question:

"Does this action positively affect my mind and body?"

If the answer is "nah," one of our favorite solutions is turning to nature.

Research shows that spending time in natural settings can significantly enhance creativity.

The calmness, the vibrant colors, the rhythmic sounds - all these elements stimulate our senses and spark our imagination in unexpected ways.

Next time you find yourself sitting in front of a canvas, confused, with paint-covered fingers (or a laptop writing blog copy) - step away from your workspace. Wash your hands (or don't). Take a wander outside, breathe, and let your mind do its thing.

You might be surprised by the novel ideas that flow as you immerse yourself in the natural world. Say hola to a bee or find new ways of explaining what you observed to someone.

Give it a whirl and let us know what happens. We obviously made our attempt before writing the above 🤗

Experiencing a lag in creativity or plainly overwhelmed and need support? Give us a shout!
